Pinnacle at mountain gate seemed like a great apartment community from the begging but has since become a burden. The parking is horrible if you work late at night you can expect a parking situation much like a shopping mall at christmas time, there are never enought spaces and nine times out of ten you will end up having to park multiple buildings away to walk to your apartment. The maintanence is also horrible every single maintanence call I've made I had to call back a week later to finally get someone out to my apartment, and on one occassion they had told me that no one had even wrote my request down, finally the last time that I had to call due to my sink in the kitchen leaking I gave up, after dealing with emptying a bucket under my sink for a week I finally, just did the work myself rather then deal with it again. And there was one occasion where a grounds keeper had knocked a lamp post out of the ground and it sat with wiring exposed and turned on getting snowed on for a week and a half before it was repaired. and there was a gas leak outside of our building for almost 3 months of our lease. As for noise the neighbors are quite, and seem to behave themselves. And after dealing with all of this for a whole year I was greeted with a nice 88.00 rate hike even though there are multiple vacant apartments around me, and to add insult to injury for my loyalty as a customer, they send me a notice saying if I renew they will clean my carpets for free, which is required by law for them to do in the state of colorado if you rent somewhere more then 1 year. After reading some of the other posts im not so sure that its market rate going up seeing as it's a buyers market for housing right now. It appears as though it is just the way BRE operates, by getting people into leases and they hijacking their rent every year until they get sick of it and leave. Well not worth the price they ask for, i've rented apartments for 9 years and i've had a lot greater experiences and a lot better apartments for way cheaper.

BRE Properties should be thanking their lucky stars that Pinnacle tenants haven't rallied and sued. Renting here was the BIGGEST mistake of my life. I see the rent that I've paid here as wasted money; the equivalent of shredding thousands of dollars. It truly is very sad how tenants are treated here, and what's even more sad is that the non-complying noisy tenants are allowed to continuously abuse, terrorize, and disregard the rights of the law-abiding, respectful tenants. Personally, I'm going to need therapy to deal with all the abuse I've had to take here at Pinnacle, from both my neighbors and the office staff. It's a sad place to live.

I agree, this place is horrible. I'm sorry to say, we move out on Friday. I can't tell you how over joyed I am to be done with this miserable place. Even the moving out experience has a been a pain. I really think the leasing company tries to be jerks. FYI, they don't do walk through's with you....so that means, they can screw you later and keep your deposit. That's why the camera is my friend!! Good luck to you who still remain here, I feel for you, as I hated the last year of living here!!!
