My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost a year now, and it went from OK to craptastic rather quickly. When we moved in, the fridge, stove, bathtub/bathroom, and vanity/sink were a total mess. Nothing was cleaned as promised by the on-site managers (both of whom were younger than us, 23 and 24), and things that were supposed to be fixed were still broken. The people who came in to paint before we moved in left paint spots all over our carpet and there was so much paint in the tub that it took me an entire bottle of softscurb to get it clean. We had to fix our own toilet when it broke, and have since made a list of everything that has either fallen apart or has never been fixed.

At first, we did not have any problems with our neighbors, but that didn't last long. Our bedroom window faces the "courtyard" of the building and the neighbors above us would be outside their apartment until 3 or 4 in the morning on a regular basis, very loudly drinking and talking. We were told that there was a three strikes and you're out policy on noise, but when I complained to the managers, nothing was done. I actually woke up to someone peeing off their balcony at one point. Our current upstairs neighbors are horribly loud and we can hear them laughing, talking, and yelling regularly.

When the big snow storm hit, our current on-site manager must have been out of town and no snow removal by the management was done. We had to shovel the stairs and walkways ourselves. Also during that time period, our heat broke, twice, and though it was eventually fixed after two or three phone calls, it does not work as well as before.

Overall, this is a place I wouldn't really recommend to anyone. The neighborhood is rather shady and so are our neighbors in the building. This is a pay for what you get kind of place. Good luck if you end up here.
