Pricy but subpar

So I've lived here for about a month now. I got a 2 bedroom with attached extended den. Overall, its an ok place, but there are a couple quirks, and I'll go down the list:
1. The celing fans in the bedrooms are NOT powered by the switches on the wall. Instead they are hardwired in, and you have to turn them on by the chains. The switch actually controls an outlet.
2. The Appliances...
- The Stove is pretty old style. The smallest pilot in mine didn't even fit in the fixture properly. It works all right, but its nothing special.
- The Microwave sucks. Bring your own. This thing can possibly heat up a small bowl of soup if you have enough patience, but this thing is a joke. You seriously should just use your own.
- The Fridge is always cold no matter what setting, which is ok with me, but some might not like that.
- The Dishwasher cleans the top tray very poorly.
- The Dryer dosen't dry anything. Took 2 hours to dry one pair of pants.
- The water heater had an odd buildup on the vent area where the fumes vent up.
3. The garages below you are VERY easy to hear. You can even hear people scraping the ice off of their car in the winter.
4. The windows are terrible and drafty. I put heavy heavy curtains over it to help curtail the loss of heat/cold.
5. The neighbors are idiots that don't drip their faucets when its -10 outside. Also known as my apartment was flooded.
6. They don't shovel the snow.. At all. I pay $1030 to live in a "luxury" apartment, and they don't shovel the damn snow' Whats the deal here. They have got an ATV that they use to pick up trash, they can just attach a snow plow to that and voila.
7. The round about is useless. There is never a guard there ever. I don't think anyone has ever been in that building ever.
8. Everything is white. By that I mean the cabinets. Personally I think this looks terrible.
9. Thermostat is finicky about keeping temperatures where you tell it to.
However there are good points:
1. Lots of parking, there is always somewhere to park. Other reviews have mentioned because nobody lives here, thats not true. There is just a ton of parking outside.
2. My 2 bedroom den is HUGE. The living room looks awesome, usually you cant get something like this unless you go to a house.
3. Close to everything. There is literally a Safeway RIGHT across the street.
4. Large swimming pool
All in all, its an OK place, but just like everywhere else it has its quirks. Yes, you can occasionally hear someone playing loud music, or someone outside being an idiot, but thats life in an apartment

5 words for ya. YOU-LIVE-IN-AN-APARTMENT. Remember that the next time you feel like complaining about something as minute as being too lazy to pull the ceiling fan string, the fridge ALWAYS being cold..(WHO on earth complains THAT much???), everything being white (What, i mean come on?). Buy a house and pay that much rent on a down payment...you people demand a lot out of an apartment that many people live in before you.
