I liked it, and I didn't even work for the company :)

At Riverside I had some of the problems that other reviewers here had, but overall I didn't think it was so bad. The rent was inexpensive, and there were some really nice things about living there.

Every apartment has its own washer and dryer right in the unit, which after a few years of dealing with laundromats, I loved! Anytime I had a maintenance issue it was fixed the same day or the next day. I worked from home and was constantly receiving packages that were usually delivered to the managers office, sometimes up to 8 large boxes a day, and they always kept track of these for me and never complained about this.

Depending on what area of the complex you live, parking can either be impossible or more than enough spaces open, or have a bad smell from the dump nearby or not. The complex is RIGHT beside a gorgeous bike/run/rollerblade/walk trail along the river - it is nice not to have to drive to go do your cardio or to bike or walk through traffic on the way to a trail. The apartments are also within a short walk to a grocery store, video rental, liquor store, vet, etc - you do not even have to cross a street.

I lived in one apartment where there were problems with noisy/bummy neighbors, and then I moved to another building across the complex that was quiet, clean, and nice. I was never nervous or felt that the area was unsafe (any more than the Denver area in general.) The apartments are also right amongst some main connecting roads (Santa Fe, Federal, Wadsworth, Broadway, etc.) so it's simple to hook up to go anywhere.

The buildings are a little old and some things can be kind of run down, but the apartments have nice floorplans and big windows. Some apartments have gorgeous views of the river and the foothills in the distance. It's not a luxury place, but has some nice aspects. When I moved out, I cleaned my place well and received my full deposit back in a very timely manner.
