My overall impression of the property has been something along the lines of dissappointed. I like the location, the grounds haven't been that bad, the parking is horrible, but the look and feel of the place is alright. I've been very disappointed with the management. I feel like I've been exploited a little because of my ignorance as a first time renter. It's looking like I'm not getting my deposit back because of things that I would consider wear and tear. My blinds apparantly need replaced, although I don't know why. My carpet doesn't have the same amazing appeal it did when I moved in, but probably because it was brand new and it tends to decline after a year of living. The apartment is, for all intensive purposes, spotless to the naked eye, yet I've missed a couple of shelves and what not with my dusting so I'm probably going to have pay for the cleaning costs. Frankly, it all feels a little tick tack to me because the place is considerably cleaner than when we moved in, yet somehow it's not good enough now. My other issue is that the concrete on my balcony was broken up and falling apart since before we moved in and it was never fixed. I really didn't have any issues with maintainence but the one thing I've needed repaired has yet to be repaired. I don't really have anything to prove I'm getting screwed, and I pretty much screwed myself by not taking pictures and being ultra-thorough during the walk-through, but still that doesn't make it right. It's just funny how they'll walk through with you for two minutes when you're moving in but it takes them forty-five minutes and a white glove when you're trying to get out. The ladies in the front office have been quite rude to me with their attitudes of entitlement and empowerment. When I ask about things that need to be done they give me quick answers but when it comes time to actually do them they seem to leave out some vital information that would actually necessitate getting things done in a timely manner. They don't emphasize customer service (unless they are trying to get you to sign a lease), I find them stand-offish and unreasonable when dealing with them, and even when they see your point of view they address you in a way that is a bit belittling. I personally would not move into another property owned by this company simply because of the management at this particular residence.
