DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

Tanemara is overpriced and under maintained. I was disgusted with my experience at Tanemara! We could not move out fast enough, but paid a pretty penny in the process!
When we moved in, it reaked of cat urine to which the management responded "I don't smell it so I'm not going to do anything about it." The dryer would not work, but it took six weeks to get the not-so-handy man to come even look at it in the first place. The dryer was never fixed properly and when asked to get it fixed(for the third time) it took a whopping three months to have someone come look at it again!!!
Don't count on using the pool, it's almost always closed for 'maintenence'. The excercise room looks like a storage room for two hardly working machines. And the "Business Center" consists of one very old computer that rarely works.
The parking in inadequate thanks to the party crowd that seems to live there, and the residents leave trash everywhere and never pick up after their dogs.
The head manager is rude, and all of the managers lack management abilities.
When moving out, we scrubbed the apartment top to bottom and even had to have our carpets shampooed by one of their approved over-priced companies even though the carpets were being removed after we left. Large amounts of charges were deducted from our deposit for seemingly made-up issues.
This is one of the WORST rental experiences I have ever had.

Take them to small claims court. We moved out in 01/2006 and they charged us unreasonable charges for cleaning when we scowered the place. Just send them a letter certified return receipt requested stating that you do not agree with the charges for the various reasons. State that for all of the reasons mentioned that you want your security deposit returned within 7 business days. If you don't get it, then you can go file a small claims suit at the courthouse. I'm telling you, don't let them intimidate you. Under the Colorado Revised Statutes, if the landlord wrongfully witholds your security deposit, they are liable for what you paid to file and triple damages, so 3 times your security deposit. We settled through mitigation and got the triple damages, but I say you let the judge hear it that way it goes on record. When you settle through mitigation, everthing stays off their records. I'd take them to court. I completely agree that that place is horrible and you shouldn't let them bully you like that. I'm telling you, if the charges are unreasonable, chances are you will win your case.
