We have been out of this so-called establishment for several months now and I still feel compelled to write a review. This was hands-down the worst renting experience I've ever encountered.

When we went in to discuss a lease, we kept re-iterating a concern of elevated noise levels and were re-assured countless times by their representative, Julia, who is one of the biggest liars I've ever seen, that they would not allow elevated noise levels. We made the grave mistake of believing her and believing that the lease (which stated countless times that elevated noise levels are not allowed also)would hold some creedence. Subsequently, we signed the lease and moved in. The first 2 months were great-we had nice quiet neighbors. Then, all hell broke loose. In trying to cover their hind ends with another tenant-they moved him underneath us. It was a piece of hell. Loud stereos until all hours of the night. No matter how much we complained we were told that there was nothing that could be done about it. Mind you, we found 5 seperate times in the lease that they would not allow excessive noise and would respond to complaints. We finally talked to our neighbor and determined in large, the problem lay in the rotten construction. I think the average ginger bread house had better insulation than that place. From there on out it became a real bitter-sweet relationship with this neighbor. After going into the office several times a week and being at the point of tears because of sleep deprivation from the neighbor's stereo...they finally let us out of the lease. Why stop at just the noise levels of the stereo...we had all neighbors on one side ask if we wanted to smoke pot with them (that too is in violation of the lease, but doesn't seem to matter).

Now onto the next topic...Management. Man, is that a mis-used term at this property. They are completely unaccountable-when we tried to go to AIMCO after the manager said she didn't have the authority to handle our situation, we'd get no return calls. Talk about having your hands tied. Furthermore, we ALWAYS paid everything on time...however in the 5 months we were there-we came home to several notices posted on our door that we owed THEM money. So, not only were we spending our time in the leasing office bitching about our loud neighbor-we were down there constantly trying to help them do their job and get our names off their books due to their errors.

Last but not least, we get out of that hole. We went so far as to clean the carpets when we moved out and were told by managment "A , you'll get your whole deposit back!" Well, lo and behold the deposit check comes to us and it is short $200.00. When I called to ask where the remainder of our deposit was, I was told it's a $200 administrative fee that we signed when we moved in. Who in the world has ever had to pay $200 to have them fill in the blanks on your lease' Go figure, our good old friend the representative, Julia, told us the amount we put down was a deposit-so of course we initialed it and again, took it up the butt from AIMCO one last time.

If you decide to rent from AIMCO, please be re-assured that you will love every place you live after you get out of your contract

You are a whiney person. If seems people that complain as much as you, would never be happy no matter where you live. I feel sorry for the next landlord that accepts you as a tenant. You live in a ------- apartment, you want absolout peace and quiet, move out of the city and buy a house.
