There was a lack of respect for the north facing houses and apartments. Forget about getting any snow removal done in a timely manner.

We all will never forget the snow of 2006 2007, but those who lived in the north facing apartments/ homes will have even a worst memory. In Dec of 2006, we were hit with feet of snow and no way to get out across the complex unless you dug your way out. The ice and blowing snow made it worst for the northern facing homes. The snow blew drifts that came up to our chests (I know because I out trying to help out my neighbors). Cars couldn t even get up the entrance because no one plowed it, or lied down salt. So the parked on the street, then they were buried by the street plows.
Now I know everyone had problems throughout the city weeks after this storm, but we had it months after. Every storm that followed was the same for the north facing houses and streets. When I moved out in Feb. there were still inches of ice in front of the mailboxes and homes from the Dec storm. There only help we got was from the caring maintenance working employed there, but his hands were tied when his small snow blower died on him trying to dig us out. When comes to getting help to the residents in a timely manner when they needed the help the most I give them an F-. That is my 2 cents.
