The older apartment/ townhomes are drafty and have serious heating/ cooling problems. Prepare to pay an arm and a leg for your energy bill in addition to the arm and leg that they want for rent. Overall the newer side of the complex wasn't too bad. My biggest gripe was the management. When the blizzard of '06 hit the manager was in Florida and didn't leave anyone in charge with the authority to write checks. So when the maintenance guy's snow blower died there was no way for him to buy a new one. We had 2.5 feet of snow and nobody plowing or doing anything. All the residents had to shovel ourselves out. 2 months later there was still ice on the sidewalks and they had done NOTHING about removing any of the snow that entire winter.

Also when my wife and I did move out the manager tried to jerk us around with the final inspection. My wife literally sat in the main office all day waiting (and missing work) for her to do her final inspection, and then she said she didn't have time and would have to reschedule. Long story short the manager kept procrastinating and then had the audicity to try and charge us extra rent because she was too incompotent to get the inspection done (tried and failed to charge us).

Bottome line: the apartments themselves aren't too bad as long as you're in the newer section (the townhomes aren't worth the high rent because of the poor insulation), but the manager is an incompotent moron. A friend of mine still lives there and yes, it's still the same idiot running the place as when I was there. If you do rent there I recommend keeping every document/ paperwork that you get from her because she will probably try some kind of stunt like what she tried to pull with us when we left. In fact it got a "2" overall from me mainly because of the management.
