The Crest at Lone Tree is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in!!! At first sight, they are beautiful, and so of course I was anxious to move into a practically new building. I signed a 13 month lease with the Crest and was happy until I discovered black mold growing all over my walls(behind my bedroom furniture). I had complained to the maintence personel several times in reguards to my bathroom floors shooting out water anytime I would step on the tile (apparently a water pipe had burst in the wall)...Well it took about 3-4 WEEKS before anyone would show up. When the Crest was notified about the black mold growing in my bedroom (which is next to the bathroom) they were not concerned about this problem and stated that it wasn't that big of a deal...IM SORRY...BLACK MOLD growing in my bedroom is not a concern to them'''!!''' Well... my lease was about to expire, but i had an agreement with the Crest that I would only sign another lease if they fixed the mold problem..of course they agreed, so i signed another lease. Stupid on my part, because it still isn't taken care of. Because i am so sick of being sick with chronic sinus infections, i want out of my lease. They refuse to let me out of my lease until i pay $5000.00!!!! My next door neighbors also had to move out because their entire living room wall caved in and was moldy due to water pipes bursting and no one responding to the calls!!! When i brought up to the Crest that i was leaving my apartment, they had the nerve to tell me that NO MOLD HAS EVER BEEN REPORTED!!!!! I'm in SHOCK...so they apparently aren't documenting mold problems...because they don't think its a concern to their residents....THIS PLACE IS DISCUSTING behind the walls!!!!!
