I've been in this complex for nearly 3 years now. I will admit that there have been some issues w/items in disrepair, but on the whole, it's a great place to live. With regard to the trash schedule, no one is "forced" to keep their trash in their apartment assuming, that is, that they're not too lazy to walk or drive it to the main dumpster at the rear of the property on those days when the portable dumpsters aren't in service I've lived in a number of corporately run apartments over the years and thus far only this one brings the dumpsters to you. Everywhere else I have lived, the dumpster was stationary and quite a distance away. I've always had to walk my trash until now. Yes, they have gone through the trash. However, what was left out of that comment was that some residents have chosen to simply leave their trash piled in the parking lot or on the lawn instead of removing it to the main dumpster. Again, lazy. As such, that trash becomes public property. The police wouldn't even need a warrant to go though it. The residents who've complained about the staff going through the trash are likely those who were fined for not properly disposing of the trash. As for the issues w/the dog feces "everywhere", that is more the fault of current, disrespectful, lazy, irresponsible trashy residents that don't belong anywhere as upscale as Lone Tree anyway. Perhaps Federal Heights would be a better choice for them. The staff keeps up w/the feces issue as best they can, but one man against several residents per building who don't clean up after their dogs is quite the challenge. They have even gone so far as to install "doggy spots" in every grassy area so pet owners have bags to use and a place to dispose of them when finished. I've not been happier w/a corporately run apartment in all my years of renting. They've worked w/me at every turn, and issues have been few and far between. Any issues that did arise were delt w/immediately and always to my satisfaction. Overall, if you abide by the rules, this is an excellent place to live.
