I moved in a few months ago and have had absolutely no problems with the staff. They have gone out of their way to accomodate us.
The apartments themselves are gorgeous and very quiet (especially if you live on the top floor). There are quite a few older couples and families that live here. The only problems I have are with the younger residents. They leave their garbage sitting outside their doors for days at a time and the people in my building have started smoking in the hallways outside their front doors and leaving their cigarette butts all over the floor. I mean seriously, it hasn't been that cold outside; use your balcony if you're too lazy to walk down the stairs and go outside or better yet, don't smoke! It stinks up the hallways! Most of these people don't think twice about picking up after themselves. I guess since they think the rent is so expensive, they shouldn't have to pick up after themselves.
And, seriously, what's the big deal with the security gates not working' It's not like it's really going to keep anyone out who's intent on getting in. I've lived in a few apartment complexes with security gates that actually worked and they were more of a bother than anything and did absolutely nothing to deter crime as there were multiple car break-ins and even a few rapes.
Other than the few lazy, inconsiderate residents, the Crest is a great place to live.

What kind of bubble are you living in? What manager did you deal with? Where were you when i was getting screwed? You mentioned several problems in your own post - then say you recommend it...wait, the management can change all that you complained about, but they haven't. REmove the security gates if your not using them! The crest is a horrible place to live but im glad you had a good time!
