U know, u always hear, where u live depends on ur neighbors.... well, that's true -- but it also depends on ur complex...

at first my husband and i loved this place -- we still, LOVE the look on the inside of the apartments. They are gorgeous - great new appliances (that break down... a lot - they rarely replace anything...just keep fixing away). But, for the look -- its great.

But, here are the facts -- Without bias.... Straight up Truth. We still live here -- but are moving in 2 months...

Just about 0 parking -- unless you come home at a decent hour. In the mornings i always see cars lining the sides of the street -- on the curbs, in front of the dumpsters -- they DO NOT have enough parking. So if you work late hours.... good luck.
Garages are clear in the back of the complex -- we got lucky and got an apartmetn in the back, so the garage is pretty close...but for everyone else...Have fun walking.
ICE ICE ICE. Taking care of snow isn't a problem usually. But because everything is on this giant slant -- ice is a MaJOR problem with its winter. They dont maintain salt or sand on the ice at all -- its quite dangerous...espeically walking to ur garage.
Noise is an absolute huge issue. We've lived here for 10 months now and we just suffer with the noise. I've done 2 other complexes now before this one - and it hasn't been this bad -- but the noise from above u is horrendous. You hear every step, every pound, jump, everything....it echos. From the side apartments isn't terribly bad, but from above u...good luck. AND, the hallway echos like crazy. We have some partiers across the hall from us, we hear full convos from our bedroom in the night -- all hours and the slam of the door about a 1000 times.
Its nearly impossible for the complex to care about an issue ur having with another tenant. We had 2 guys above us before that mixed their own techno -- so there was like 9 people up there on average, speakers as loud as they coudl be.... We complained to the office a good.... 6 months before it was resolved....... but they never did anything (the guys finally just moved out). Now we have some potheads across the way from us -- we smell heavy marijuana almost everyother day and have called the apartments.... their answer' "I'm sorry but we cant prove they are doing marijuana"...... So we called the cops. Cops go in, bust em with their pot, alert the complex..... problem solved' no. Next week, we smell pot again -- call the complex.... now they know they've done pot before.... still they do nothing. We just keep calling the cops. But we're pretty sure they are dealing now -- theres 5, 10 minute pickups about 30 a day now.... What does the complex do' nothing.


So theres the facts -- when my husbnd and i moved here, it had a bit of a different atmosphere -- seemed more... 'working adult'. But int he last several months its gone college party complex. Most of our friends have already moved out for the same reasons.... its just going downhill. We're moving in 2 months... just need to find something now. I've heard a lot of people say that Amli down the street is better...but i dunno.

Good luck -- but dont be fooled by the gorgeous insides of the apartments...they come with a price...
