Overall I like living here. It's not perfect and there are some things to be desired. Like, the garbage does over flow from time to time but I've only seen it get really bad 2 times in the last year. Those times were when someone moved in and through all their uncrushed boxes in the trash the day after some people moved out. There was move in and move out trash in 2 small dumpsters. It took about two days for it to disappear. The other was when someone got evicted and people were rummaging through their stuff and a lot of it ended up in the trash. The dumpsters are small but its better then walking 300 yards to a central dumpster on the other side of the property. The apartments are currently being painted so it looks a little run down due to the fact that the painters are all poorly dressed -------- that through their lunch trash on the grass. I can understand the painting though, it's got to happen sometime. The maintenance people do a good job fixing things. They rarely have to come back a second time to fix something. However, it could take them a few days to show up if it's not something major. That being said, our dishwasher broke and they showed up the next morning and fixed it. There was an incident where a friend of mines dog was injured by plywood that was left on the ground by the painters. ------, but ---- happens. The parking at times can suck. If you get there after 8pm then you re going to be walking a bit further. However, parking sucks at all apartments unless you have assigned spots. I ve defiantly seen worse. This is an apartment and I was pleased with what we got. It s in a great area, it looks nice on the outside and the apartment layouts are very spacious. Hallways leading up to your door do look like they need work but it s not that big of a deal. The pool has been pretty nasty from time to time but it is always after the collage kids through their pool parties and it usually looks pretty trashed afterwards. It takes them about 4 days to get it looking pristine again. All in all I can t complain that much. The things that bug me are the gates that don t work and the fact that there is no direct pay option anymore. I don t know the peoples name that work in the office, but they seem nice enough. They have given me no problems and they seem pretty laid back. It could be better and it could be a lot worse. But here are some things to consider. It looks good on the outside. It looks good on the inside. The area is great and it not Aurora.
