First let me say I really love the layout of my apartment. The kitchen and living room are huge. That's where the good ends. I've never had the maintenance and parking issue some residents mention. My problem is the noise. You can hear everything...and I mean everything in this complex. You can hear your upstairs neighbor's every step. It sounds like an elephant stomping above me. You can even hear water running through the pipes in the walls. If your upstairs neighboor enjoys playing music, mine plays guitar that makes things even better. Even when he's not playing loudly I hear every note. Don't bother complaining to the office about the noise either. They won't do anything. The many, many times I've called they've been pleasant but the noise problem is never fixed. I've had at least 3 noise complaints sent in about the "band" playing above me and it does no good at all. I've lived in apartments my entire adult life and I expect some noise but this is unbearable. My lease is up in about 2 months and the noise is the one and only reason I'm moving. Love the apartment but I can't take the noise anymore. If you value your peace and quiet this is not the place for you! I'll no longer pay over $1000/month to live in what sounds like a dorm room.

I also have experienced not a day of peice and quiet at the Crest when I lived there. When I was in my bedroom, all I could hear, crystal clear, voices from my next door neighbors. The Crest is NOT a place where you would feel comfortable.

I hear you on that! My apartment has a beautiful layout! I wish the maintenance, staff, and quality of the site were better... My upstairs neighbors consist of an engaged couple who invite their friends over to get drunk every weekend. They have a live band, too, and they play at extremely late hours and into the morning. Noise complaints don't change anything. I can also hear everything the couple fights about, down to the gory details! The buildings were very cheaply made, as evidenced by my leaky windows and poor plumbing. This will be my last lease here. I'd rather have these problems in a home, where I can take care of each problem when I need them taken care of -- not on Riverstone's time... which has so far been never. Good luck to you in finding a better home, but I don't think much luck is needed. I'm sure it'll be quite easy to find something better! =)

I live at the Crest and the only place I can hear noise is in my livingroom and that is hallway noise. I have never had a problem with my nieghbors at all. I know that I live in an apartment and noise comes with it. But my upstairs nieghbor is not loud or my side nieghbor. I guess my ears just don't pick up that much.. Lol.. Anyways, I'm sorry you guys feel that way and maybe you have crappy nieghbors I would call the cops on them if I had that problem. Everything else that ppl have problems on I see it but its not that bad. Again its an apartment ppl.
