I have lived at Fox Ridge for nine months. This is one of the nicest complexes I have ever lived at or visited. I have a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom (Sugarloaf Model), and it is very spacious. The decorative touches in the apartment are part of what makes it so great. I love that the walls are a tan color (not white), I have a lovely gas fireplace, a balcony, a built-in computer desk with bookshelves, nice appliances in the kitchen (including an over-the-stove microwave), a huge oval bathtub, and a large walk-in closest. When I moved in, the apartment was spotless. I also lucked out in that my unit has gorgeous views of the mountains, including Long's Peak. The maintenance staff responds to problems very promptly and the office staff are friendly and helpful.

My main complaints have to do with the plumbing, the lack of parking, and a noisy neighbor. My toilet clogs very easily and sometimes when I am in the shower if my neighbor turns their shower on, I lose water pressure and/or my water gets cold. If you get home after 9 p.m., it is very difficult to find a parking space close to your own building. This isn't a big deal during warmer months, as I feel safe walking around the complex at night, but can be a pain in the winter and/or if you are carrying lots of groceries, etc. If you can afford to rent a garage (about $60/month), it is worth it. I can occasionally hear my next-door neighbors, which is normal for an apartment complex. However, my downstairs neighbor blasts bass at all hours of the day and night, which is extremely annoying. A final note, it would be nice if they repainted the stairwells, as the paint is chipping, and kept the front doorways cleaner (mine is full of cobwebs, etc.)

Overall, the amenities, staff, and apartment, itself, make this a great place to live, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
