I totally disagree with the person that wrote about the vaulted ceilings, poor water pressure, not so clean, and icy steps at Fox. I have lived on the 2nd floor since 2004 and still love it! The whole place is very warm in the winter and the gas savings is amazing..I have NEVER been cold in my place..and the AC in the summer is wonderful! I rarely notice a difference with the water pressure but the efficient heating system does require that you turn the heat down if you want hotter water. This will be my 4th winter at Fox Ridge and my steps have ALWAYS been swept and even sprinkled with salt when icy on week days. 2006 was a BAD winter & the parking lot was horrible...I fell on black ice and injured myself..and mgmt offered to lend me a garage because mine was blocked by snow! I love Fox!

I can't speak specifically about the review you cite, but in building 8, there are serious water pressure issues at times, sometimes bad enough to kill a shower. Its almost funny turning on the washing machine during these low-pressure times.
As to the ice problem, again at building 8, it is bad every winter. Sure, they take care of snow when it first falls, but when gutter is filled with snow/ice and the snow/ice starts to melt on the roof, well it has nowhere to go but down to the steps below. Because of all the snow we had last year, I ended up buying my own container of that ice melt product because the complex didn't come out daily to re-salt the steps, which would re-ice due to the dripping from the roof (and the icicles under the stairs were pretty impressive). Nothing like half an inch or more of ice on a few steps to make getting in or out of the 2nd floor "fun."
Now, that doesn't mean that all parts of the complex have these problems or that its a bad place to live, but those issues do exist.
