important to know when moving out From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/30/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   These scumbags do anything to take your money. I got a huge bill 3 months after I moved out. I looked up landlord tenant law and found that if you do not receive an itemized damage list within 30 days of moving out they legally can't charge you ANYTHING. SO I hired a lawyer for 75 bucks to write up an official letter stating the law and they dropped the bill and gave me back my deposit. Don't let these idiots scam you.
