My husband and I have lived here for 3 years, and these apartments have been great for us. Yes, they are old and not much to look at on the outside, but the beautiful, spacious lawns, large balconies, and price definitely make this place worth checking out. The insides are quite spacious as well, though I'd never recomend a first floor apartment - too dark. Others have complained about having to wait a long time for repairmen to fix things and then getting charged, but we haven't had that problem at all. When our fridge broke, they let us move our food to the fridge in an empty apartment on the floor above (actually they offered to do it for us) and had a new fridge in our apartment the next day. The landlady is fine, as long as you don't give her crap. It would be nice if there were a hot tub and workout room, and washer and dryer units in apartments would be a HUGE plus, but you get what you pay for. The pool area is well kept and peaceful. There are quite a few families living in these apartments, but we've never had trouble with noise. We found this is definitely the best deal on apartments in the area - the cheapest that aren't scary.
