I ended my lease and moved out of the apartment and called the manager to ask if I could leave a few things behind in the apartment for The Humane Society (goodwill) and she said that is fine, even though my lease ended. And yes, I know that once they repossess their apartment anything left in there is their property. I also said that I had a few of my personal items in the storage shed (I didn't have enough space and I was driving out of the state that same day)that I would come back within the same week to pick up. And they said that would be fine.
In a nutshell, Humane Society picked up what they were supposed to. But, when the storage room was opened their was nothing in there. I call the office manager (as they refused to let me talk to the maintenance supervisor) and she said maintenance threw everything away and put it aside the garbages!! ALRIGHT, you tell me, would someone throw valuable things away, (you don't throw a whole box of CDS away)I don't think so! Why not call someone, like me, the owner or give it to goodwill. HOW IRRESPONSIBLE. They are thieves and I will be making an itemed list, take it to small claims court and make a police report!
