We're finally moving out of here, after being here almost a year. I had to find someplace in longmont that was affordable and that I could get into rather quickly. The first person i delt with was pretty pushy and made it feel like i was buying a used car but they had one available and that was decently priced. Since we've been here though we've had many issues:

1. The first apartment we moved into was right below an apartment that had people coming and going 24/7, who we're also engaging in lewd activies in the parking lot. I notified the management and they didnt want to do a thing about it. Finally after weeks of dealing with them they let us move to another apartment. The one we moved into was in a better location but the carpet was stained and the whole place was not in the best of shape, but better than the other one.

2. Maintenance is horrible, the first guys we dealt with we're good. The newer maintenance staff can be rude and down right threatening. We had a maintenance emergency and the one person totally blew us off, and when he finally did come he gave us a ton of attitude about it and was down right mean. Also we had our fridge go out and it took them 2 weeks to get us a new one, and when they did bring it they came into our apartment without letting us know and we had our dog out of his cage, and left the old fridge with food sitting outside for 3 hours! Managament has been rude many times and is hard to deal with, Ive even called the regional manager to deal with the issues. Management seems to not care, although I heard someone new is in charge so maybe things will change (not)

3. When we got a larger dog the original request for pet deposit went up 200 bucks from when we signed the lease. The fee they charge now is outrageous.

4. The neighborhood is by far not the best, even in our new apartment we still hear noises, the walls are paper thin, and we can hear people engaging in sexual activity every night from 2 apartments above us. The parking is horrible, and it can be impossible to find a spot after 6pm.

Overall I would not recommend this place, we got a decent rent but the regular rents are outrageous. Id highly advise to look around before you decide because this place is by far not the best one in Longmont. The only thing the orchards has is nicely landscaped grounds.

Finally, we just learned about the 60 day rule, which is a load of bs. Most apartments only let you hold a new one for 30 days, so your outta luck. Now we are likely to get screwed over for an extra months rent which we dont care about because we just want out of here and look forward to moving as soon as we can.
