Rude neighbors, no place to park

I moved here in May 2008, and will definately NOT be renewing my lease. I am thanking God that I only signed a 6 month. My apt. was not ready when I came to sign my lease, and I gave them three weeks notice of when I intended to move. Then, the week before I moved I got a call saying that someone needed a place sooner than I did and they had let her have my apt, and that they would have another one ready when I needed to move. I had already called and had my utilities transferred as of May 2. When I called back, they said that they would have a place for me on May 10. I had already come in and given them my deposit, which is not refundable after 72 hours. They also called me AFTER the 72 hour period to inform me that they needed additional deposit because my credit wasn't the best. I was freaking out because I had to be out of my old place on May 5, and now had no place to go. This seems to be standard operating procedure for this place. I started hearing from other people that I knew or that had lived here that the apt. is never ready when you go to move. A friend of mine had to spend three nights in a motel with all his belongings in a U-Haul because his place was not ready. Also, things are always broken when you move in, and promises are made to fix them after you move in. They never get fixed. I have lived here for 4 months and my fan in my bathroom is still hanging down, ready to fall any day. When I came to do my check in before I started moving, I heard the maintenance guy and the cleaning girl talking about it. She asked him if he saw it and he said he did but maybe I wouldn't notice it because he didn't have time to fix it. On the day I FINALLY got to come and sign my lease, they wanted twice as much money as they had told me. They said that in order to qualify for the two free weeks, I had to pay two months in advance. I was not told this when I was originally looking into the apt, nor after I had paid my deposit. I think that I am the only tenant that picks up after my dog. Someone's dog is allowed to roam free, and has decided to use the rocks in front of my patio as his private toilet. Also, for some reason, my neighbors think that my patio is their ashtray. I do not smoke, therefore I think it is DISGUSTING to pick up butts. I never see the maintnance people do anything but drive around all day in golf carts. They are never in apts, just driving around. I definately have discouraged any one I have talked to that is looking at apts. to NOT live here.

We as Management would never run a business like this. Legacy is rated number one by J.D. Power and assoc. in customer service. What I am reading here is something that would never happen in my office.
