These apartments are really nice looking apartments inside and out, but when it came down to living there they were the worst.
1. When we moved in we noticed the kitchen wasn't exactly clean. While cleaning we realized it had not been cleaned at all! We were compensated by management with money off our next months rent. They also refused to replace a cabinet door a dog chewed up.
2. The people below us played their stereo so loud that the pictures on our walls shook. It was so loud it could be heard from the parking lot on the other side of the building. This seemed to be a common problem since you could often hear stereos from other apts and car stereos even with all your windows shut. Noise from cars was another problem. On more than one occasion we could hear people outside screaming at each other.
3. There was also a problem with the lawn never being cleaned up after animals used it.
4. We had big problems with the asst. manager not responding to our requests and being down right rude.
On the upside, the manager seemed careing, the pool was kept up, and they were really nice looking apartments. The noise from neighbors however, was too much to handle.

I just hope things are better now, as I'm getting ready to rent this place.... ug, it's so hard, why can't people create apartment complexes with the thought of Silence in mind

I was the Assistant Manager at the time. I am no longer working with that company now. In resposnse #4 passage, I know who these residents were. Late every time with rent and neighbors would complain constatnly about the noise from their apartment. Just remember there are two sides to every story. These people demanded each maintenance item done within minutes. Our policy was within 24 to 48 hours if it was not an emergency. PLUS THEY LEFT THE APARTMENT IN SHAMBLES WHEN THEY LEFT! So as you can see...two sides to every story. I still tell people to live at the Overlook!
