out-of-state-mega-corporation holding company = poor management

I have lived here for a year and had every intention of renewing my lease for another year. That was before I talked to the current managers. They were totally uninterested in the fact that I had already been screened for my current lease(security/financial), and stated that they required it be rechecked because they had "lost" the information. In addition the rent was to be raised $100.00. I was also told that I would be required to show proof of renters insurance. I have had this insuraance for years, but should not be required to prove this to them. They seem confused about the difference between quality management, and parenting. Management does not seem to have the ability to make any decisions, they only parrot company policy. Buildings are in the process of being repainted and look nice. Turnover in this complex is very high, even before current management. Laundry room lock was broken for several weeks(held together with duct tape) before being repaired.I am looking for a new place to live. The new name is Circle at the Shores. NEW NAME, SAME LOUSY MANAGEMENT.
