So...the ownership is changing but the manager is staying and she was able to hire a new, more experienced maintenance person. That's definitely a good thing bc the manager is great. I have lived there since 2001. She is very accomodating and helpful(walks dogs, waters plants, gets mail, etc). I think it was pretty rude of the last poster to insult her intelligence because she's super smart, just really really nice. Maybe the the last person isn't used to people being nice to them'' Maybe that comes off as dingy. Just something to consider...
Also I hear the new owners are apparently planning on re-doing the parking lots, painting the exterior, updating the clubhouse, changing more carpets before people move in, and adding a pool. I definitely agree that the old owner let it start going downhill and I was considering moving but it looks like that's changing. :)
I like the floorplans and have lived in several of them. My last gas/elec. bill was $38 (1 bedroom) and has never been more than $80 (2 bedroom) so I don't know what their problem is. The insulation seems fine to me.
I doubt you'd be disappointed if you lived here.
