Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
Had a one year lease with them and apart from an obvious speedy build on the apartments (everything is super cheaply done/constructed) They make you feel like they aren't interested in keeping tenants.
Lost myjob during my lease and had 2 pay a months rent late and the first day I was fined $75 (which I knew about) BUT I also received a threatening letter stating I had to pay by end of day or go to court. ONE DAY LATE!!!
They give nice move-in specials but for us to even think of staying it would be a $500 dollar a month increase.
Maintenance was done when needed without issue and all the maintenance people were "Looking for a new job" when I asked how they were treated.
You can tell the construction team was in a rush and didn't care about quality essentials (smallest sink on earth, tons of cracks, unfinished holes and BUGS GALORE INSIDE)
Staff was nice but I always felt the sleasy owners pushing their unfriendly policies through the kind-hearted employees.
EVERYONE I have met at this complex has moved out. I have yet to meet someone who has renewed their lease. A worker told me he knew of one person who's been there since it opened and supposedly she's a whiney mean old lady from what he said
A friend of mine who stayed here was footed a bill for a new carpet when she left and when she said she'd take it to court they dropped it... interesting policies...
My brother lost his job and had to leave early. When you move out you have to pay for the concessions they gave you (free months, free trash etc.) but they tried to charge him the difference between what they say is 'usually' the market value (over $1,300) and the current market value (over $800) per month he lived there. He called them on it, since it was not in the contract that way and he didn't have to pay but they said, "Well people have been paying for it" and supposedly they've edited their agreements around this.
Nice when you can't afford one months rent of $800 that they wanted him to come up with near $7,000 which would have covered the rest of his stay.
This place will make you want to leave.
Live here ONLY if you are wealthy and won't have an issue with them making up fake charges like cleaning or replacements for things that worked and were fine when you left.
PS our realator left our complex due to the complaints she recieved from people she moved in...
