The community center is actually busy with residents coming and going. It isn't like most club houses, where no-one is there except the staff.
I tried to move out on my first day at Horizons, there weren't even footprints on the carpet. Plus they have a 30 Satisfaction Guarentee. But They were Satisfied, so I had to stay. The management is the only problem with Horizons. Their motto is Just Say No, to everything. Every year they hand out CEL Survey to all the residents to write what they think of the Horizons. And they give you the results of last year s survey. And every year, management is the only thing that is marked down.
The staff at the community center is nice and friendly and will remember your name.
One winter night the pipes upstairs from me burst. And they took care of it within a few hours. They also vacuumed the water and set out fans to blow dry the carpet.

I should also add that not all communities do like this. I rented a apt in NC 2 years ago. They had a 15 day money back guarantee. The apt had a smelly odour for which I requested I want to move out and they happily sent me a pro-rated check after I gave them in writing and moved out. For those apt managers who want to ridicule this story, let me tell you it is true!!

This person had a bad experience but says they like it? Not sure about that, but I do know they do not care about the tenant after signing a lease or moving in. The whole business plan is to move people in and get their money as long as they can before they move out.

I have to say this person didn't have our problem. I am writing at 11:39pm trying to sleep but can't because I have to listen to my neighbor's television. Not fun at all.

Television is not as bad as hearing the idiots slamming doors, jumping on the floors and banging on your wall every time you wash your clothes at 10am. This is watters edge btw.
