I have lived at the Horizons at Rock Creek for three years now and would like to share my dissatisfaction with anyone thinking of moving here. There is a HUGE lack of communication among staff here at the Horizons at Rock Creek. I have had numerous requests for maintenance that have been ignored or had set appointments for that ended up in a waste of my time with no maintenance requests being completed. I pay luxury apt prices to sit at home four friday's in a row for scheduled maintenance then find out that it won't be completed once again. I pay luxury apt prices in a dog friendly community to find out that they don't maintain the dog clean up stations and leave overfilled cans of dog waste for weeks and don't provide bags in most stations yet require all owners to clean up after their pets. I pay luxury apt prices to have the staff in community services lose my rent check and come leave notices on my door saying that I owe them more for late rent- which has NEVER been late. Then have to turn around and pay stop pmt fees at the bank and not get reimbursed. The community here has really gone down hill in the last couple years, staff lacking communication is the most frustrating part. The surrounding areas are beautiful but I will be sure to find a new home when this lease term is up.
