For the price and the area this complex is less than ideal. I had major water problems with my unit. There was a big rain shower and several inches of water ran in my front door and flooded the first floor of my townhome. I took pictures, submitted the damages and only after some strong words and convincing, moved us to another apt. This one however also had water problems, which leads me to believe this is not an isolated incident. Since this is CO, it snows pretty frequently. When the snow would melt, it all ran into our garage and kitchen. I can't tell you how many times we had to call for water evacuation. The drywall in our garage with all of the standing water got very damaged and molded. They still haven't cared to fix this. Even with some property damage, and lots of strong conversations with the staff, we were reimbursed $200 after having to pack up everything and move. To me this was absolutely not enough. For everyone's information, CO just passed a law helping to protect renters, and once I pulled this info on them, they seemed to perk up some. Another big problem we had was with pigeons. We had a family of them living in a nest above our garage. With pigeons comes poo and it got absolutely out of control. I have called the county to see what they could do about forcing the complex to do something about the mold and the poo for health reasons. Nobody should be forced to live 6 feet from a line of poo an inch tall. We literally had to jump over the poo to get from our driveway into our garage.

Just driving into the complex should be enough for anyone to turn around and run the other way. The roads are absolutely unreasonable. When I moved in two years ago, they said they had plans to resurface the roads after Christmas. Yeah right, it's been two years later and it has only gotten worse. Some of the holes are so big, little kids play in them when it rains. They finally have put cones in the really big ones so you don't lose a bumper at night if you hit one. Just try and drive in the complex in a sports car, I dare you.

If you absolutely were stuck and had to live here, I would say get a second floor unit with no overhangs for birds to live in close to the side entrance. Positives are that the pools are usually kept up and the community center has lots of perks (theater, movie rental, tanning, gym, classes). Other than that, the units are pretty shoddily built. The carpet is like sandpaper it's so cheap and old. Oh yes, we have also had a problem with bugs (spiders). They claim they came and sprayed, but that seemed to just drive them all in our house.
