I moved here for the location and the amenities and because the price seemed reasonable for the area. However, I am being driven insane by all the problems with this unit and the management company's lack of response. I had a real problem with spiders and after being told twice that the exterminator was coming and then not having him show up, I sprayed myself. The next day, I counted 10 spider carcasses in the bathroom, and more show up on a daily basis, since I have to spray every day. Still no sign of the professional exterminator. We've also had a lot of rain recently and whenever this happens, I get a flood of water through my bedroom window. Guess they don't think that's very important because they've never done anything. I also complained about the air conditioning pumping out lukewarm air and thus, never shutting off on warm days. They did come and look at that -- when it was 60 degrees outside, and decided the a/c was plenty cold enough. They also left my a/c on at the lowest setting, so I had a rather frosty reception when I got home later.

The worst problem, however, is the noise from the plumbing in this unit. Every time someone turns on the water in the whole building, I hear noise in my unit, and when the people above me use the bathtub or flush the toilet, it's loud enough to drown out the TV or the radio. I had a guest over once and she couldn't believe how ridiculous this situation is. I cannot believe this problem has not arisen before with this unit or that they think this would be an acceptable way to live.

The frustrating thing about this is that they pay lip service to my complaints, but nothing ever gets done, like they think they'll just wear me down and I'll shut up. Hardly.

Spare yourself the irritation. Don't rent here.
