You won't find a cheaper apartment in the Louisville/Boulder area. I moved into a 1 bdrm apartment around Christmas of 2002. The apartment was small, but plenty big enough for just me. I never had any problems with appliances. Al, the manager, was almost always available. He helped me dig my car out of the snow once, which was not exactly his responsibility. A friend stayed on my couch one night and did mention music coming from the apt upstairs early in the morning, but I never noticed it. The building was very quiet.

I loved the location. Having Walgreens and Safeway directly behind the complex was extremely convenient. The complex is directly off of S. Boulder Road, and is a quick 7 min. drive into Boulder (with spectacular views of the foothills!)

When I had to move to MN before me lease was up, Al was of great help with subleasing the apartment. Everything worked out great and I was surprised by how much of my deposit I got back.

I highly recommend Portals Apartments.
