I have lived here for awhile now and these apts. are far from "ghetto". The person who posted that doesn't even know how to spell. Anyhow, nothing is perfect in this world, but if you are looking for a really nice place to live...it is here. No, the management is not the greatest, but they leave you alone if you just pay your rent on time. I have seen many come and go and it is because they are not responsible and don't pay their rent. Then they blame it on the place. It is what you make of it and it is safe and maintenance does a nice job keeping it clean. They have raised the rent, but I think it is to improve the overall living experience here including who lives here and who doesn't.
