Decent place, but walls are paper thin

I was one of the 1st tenants to move in when the place opened in July 97. Was told that the walls were going to be thick and well insulated. Total BS. I could here the people in the next apartment snore and fight every night.
The manager is a -----. One night I finally got fed up with the noise from next door and banged on the wall. The manager got a complaint from them (in retaliation for the fact that I also called the cops) and said that we woke them up. The manager (a woman) then accused my wife of having the bed too close to the wall, and that newlyweds should be more considerate of the neighbors. I had to threaten a sexual harrassment complaint before anything got done.
Those neigbors and that manager have since moved on. The maintenance guy is still there -- always gave it his best shot at fixing things, but isn't the brightest bulb.
A nice place to live, but watch out for the rent increases.
