If your looking for a place to live don't live here! The actual apartment itself wasn't bad it was good sized and conveniently located to where we needed to go. Although, when we moved in it did look like nobody had even bothered to clean the place before renting it out. The real problem that we had while living there was with the management and the office staff at Henderson Management. They are unbelievably unhelpful and rude when you have a problem. For over 6 months out of the year and a half that we lived there they had a "big construction project" going on in the basement of the building that just happened to be located directly below our apartment. The person building down there wouldn't bother to show up until 5:00 in the afternoon and he would continue to bang and run his generator and his drill and his saw until at lease 11:00 or 12:00 at night. And when we made a complaint to the management, we were given the cold shoulder and absolutely NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT. Another thing, if you have a maintanance issue, half the time the maintance guy doesn't call you and ask if it's okay to enter your apartment before going in to fix whatever and after they leave they don't even leave you a note or anything to let you know that they were there. Kinda creepy if you ask me. Also, they had a resident manager living there that would go around and look in peoples windows and be a real jerk whenever we would ask him questions about what was going on in the complex. When we made a complaint about that to the office staff, their only reply was "HE wouldn't do THAT..." And that was it. So basically, if you really want to live in a place where the rent is ridiculously high for what you get and want to deal with rude, inconsiderate people, than I guess Heritage Apartments is the place you want to be. But if that's not what you want, stay far far away.

This is spot on! I also lived there once and got thoroughly hosed by Henderson. Poor service, a ridiculous way of billing for your heat, and then we were screwed out of our deposit. If you ever wanted to visit Hell, here's your chance.

I must say, I had a good laugh while I was reading your response review, in regards to "your opinion" and "your thoughts" about Henderson Management. I myself rented a townhouse here in Loveland,Co through Henderson Management for 4 years (2003-2007)and I NEVER ONCE had a problem with Henderson's Staff,nor their Management Personal, nor their Maintenance Crew. ANY TIME I ever had a maintenance issue, Henderson's staff was ALWAYS right on it, and as a matter of fact, a Maintenance Tech ALWAYS called me in advance(normally the night before) to let me know when they would be there to fix the issue at hand...You also said,"and after they leave they don't even leave you a note or anything to let you know that they were there" You are SOOOOOOO WRONG!! And I have over 10 old neighbors that would back me up on that..A Maintenance Tech ALWAYS hung a Henderson door sign, right on the door knob, with the Tech's name on it and the work that was done to the property, if for some reason I could not be there when they showed up.. If you think it's "creepy" that someone enters your "apartment" to "fix" a maintenance issue that "YOU" reported to have fixed, then maybe you should stop renting because that's what happens when you rent..LOL Maybe you should OWN and not RENT that way you yourself could do all the maintenance work or pay to have it done without having to feel "creepy" about it... And for the record, I now own several properties and I have hired Henderson to Manage a few of them for me, they've got to be doing something right to be Northern Colorado's #1 Property Management Company!!
