I am 22... so this is from a younger perspective,I have lived here for a year and am moving out in May. Some things to consider when looking at this place.
Good:
Beautiful rooms, and high end appliances, nice hot tub, pool, grills, shopping below, close to downtown, very secure, beautiful views from outside unit patios.
Bad:
The elevators suck!! So slow! The managment are all young girls, and most are kinda snotty and think they are better than everyone who walks through that door. PLEASE READ THIS: I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR A YEAR AND HAVE TO SO FAR EVACUATE BECAUSE OF A FAULTY FIRE DRILL 5 TIMES!!! 5 TIMES IN ONE YEAR'!'!'! This is the most annoying thing, and they are very unappologetic about it all..
Other issues: Yes this place is secure, but if you have friends over, forget it, you pretty much have to go down and get them, it will be quicker than the time it would take for them to figure out the call box.
You get one parking pass and buzzer for each person on the lease, so if you have family stay in town and its snowing' No compassion, they must park their cars on lincoln ave, most likely to get snowed in by the plows.
The age group is odd here, it is either my age folks, or elderly folks. Regardless of age everyone is respectful and friendly.
The rent is ridiculous, if you want to live in luxury and pay this much, go to denver, it is crazy.
The lady before said trash was included, not so much, its an extra 5 dollars a month, and if you have a pet' a huge non-refundable deposit PLUS at least a 25 a month rent for them as well. I have a freaking cat and it cost me over 600 dollars I wont get back!!
If you like makng one big grocery trip to the store a month, change your plans!!! The biggest pain in the butt is loading 10 bags on my arms then waiting 3 min for the elevator each way.
If you like to hear kids running up and down their apartment and loud music, live on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor... if you want to live in PEACE get an outside unit on the 4th floor... the inside units are the same price as the outside, and they just have doors that open up, waste of space, i have an outdoor unit on the 3rd floor with a BEAUTIFUL view of the mountains and the sunrise and set every day... couldnt ask for more in that department...
The carpets are cheap and get dirty easily with no hopes of coming clean.
On a good note the maintance is pretty on top of things, this place is always super clean and nothing is ever broken or less than in perfect condition.
