Unprofessional staff and the rent is not all you pay for

The staff (besides Jerry the handy-man, who works hard and cares about doing his job well) is awful. They do not care one bit about any problems you might have with the place. We used to live near the pool and people would constantly break the rules by breaking in after hours, drinking alcohol, getting high on drugs, and making lots of noise. People would consistently do this after hours (sometimes well past midnight when the pool area officially closes at 10 PM). The staff tells you to call the police except the police won't come out unless you can prove these people are tress-passing, which you can't do because they are residents and it is only a "rule" and not the "law" that people should obey when being in the pool area. This is ridiculous. The staff does nothing to curb this rude and raucous behavior by its tenants, which drives good people out like myself. I've been treated so poorly by management and talked to in such a rude manner that I could not believe. This is not to mention that what you agree to pay for "rent" is not all you pay for since they add ridiculous parking charges, "view" fees, and other amenity fees. Our official rent was somewhere in the neighborhood of $910 per month, but our monthly bill was closer to $1100. I hated this place so much because it offered so much promise, but as soon as you move in you see it for what it is. There are a bunch of white trash morons that live there and you're better off paying LESS and living somewhere BETTER than this hole. I almost forgot to mention that the place was falling apart and we had to have Jerry over fixing the floor tiles, doors, patio area, etc just about every week.

I have lived at Peakview since 2006 and find it hard to believe that you are complaining about the pool!!! I live right next to the pool for two years and have only once had seen someone in the pool after hours and all I had to do was call maintenance and they immediatley were there to remove them.
Oh and by the way Jerry hasn't worked at the community since early 2006 so not sure how he was fixing stuff in your apartment every week when he no longer worked there???

Actually, Jerry worked at PVBHL until the early summer of 2007.
