**WARNING!** Noise is a MAJOR problem! Cars being vandalized!

For as much money Gleneagles wants for their "luxury" apartment homes, you would think that these buildings would be constructed a little bit better. But they are AWFUL and the noise is just ridiculous, you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on around you no matter what floor you are on. (And yes, I even moved to a THIRD floor and I could still hear so much noise). Myself, my wife, and my little girl can never get any sleep in this place, and we are always on edge with all of the racket going on.
The maintenance guys are AWESOME and they are about the only part of the staff that actually does there job. The rest of the office staff is very nice, and Mike is probably the best out of all of them, but the property manager susuanne is incredibly rude and doesn't seem to care about "minor" issues like noise problems. Nor do they seem to care that people's cars are being vandalized throughout the complex (they don't have any security patrol!), nor do they care about the people that constantly speed through this parking lot (my neighbor saw a little girl almost get hit by a speeder).
Honestly, there are tons of nicer apartments in this area if you still want to stay in the Thornton/Northglenn are, just AVOID Gleneagles at all costs! Don't be fooled by the friendly staff and nice ammenities, it's just not worth it, unless you are willing to sacrifice your comfort and safety. Check out some of the other reviews of the other apartments nearby (Madison is a little pricey, but very good ratings!) and you will see Gleneagles is one of the **LOWEST RANKED** out of all the other apartment complexes!
We are getting ready to buy our house and thank GOD our lease ends in less than 2 months! To everyone else currently living here, if you are unhappy too please post your reviews and help warn others to stay away from Gleneagles!
