The units for the most part are nice. Although it looks like in the past at some point these were condos. I've yet to be in 2 apts that had the same carpeting, bathroom fixtures, and cabinets.
They all have washer/dryers, dishwashers and microwaves. Whether they work 100% seems to be a mixed bag. My neighbor had a leaky fridge and her dishwasher didn't work. But she never told maintenance so she was stuck with it.
Don't count on maintenance to actually fix anything though. They seem to be a little on the lazy side. They won't clean the stairways of ice and snow. Unless you count kicking the snow off the first 3 steps closest to the walk. Also their idea of fixing a window that doesn't shut properly is to douse it in WD-40 and jam it shut. I can still hear the wind howl and feel a breeze, but the cure is worse than the disease i'm afraid. Also when i first moved in my AC unit was leaking into the downstairs neighbors. I think the solution was to tighten the valve and put in a trashcan to collect any future water, cause theres a trash can in there now.But in their defense they are quick and if its simple it will be fixed.
Also no dogs! They get pissy when your friends come over with a dog and its in the car and doesn't even come outside the car. Seriously, they are rabidly anti-dog. I don't think they would allow service animals if they could get away with it legally.
I've been there 2yrs and will probably end up moving. The rent hike is just too much. I started at 630 a month, i was able to renew for another year at the same price, now this year they want 710 a month, while still offering the deal for 635 to anyone who walks in off the street for the same apt. If they keep my rent low i will stay, if they insist on the rent hike i'm out of here.
Did i mention its right next to a dairy farm' You don't smell it, but every once in a while on a hot day and the wind is just right you catch a whiff of fertilizer being made.
Last thing on the floor plan, what is described as a patio is just the front entrance of your apt, not an actual patio.
