This complex has definitely been a disappointment. The only reason I moved here from Webster Lake apartments was that webster Lake didn't accept Section 8 voucher that I had finally gotten. I've had problems with box elder bugs, sink leaks, stoves, and repeated maintenance requests being ignored. I was finally moved down to a ground level floor after 3 weeks of the elevator not working, and that was after I'd asked for a unit that was as accessible as possible. I cannot take my walker into the kitchen, bedroom, or the bathroom, as the entrances to these rooms are 24" wide. The galley style kitchen is a dark 1970's cabinets, with a whopping 6 foot by 2.5 foot path. No dishwasher, and the laundry room dryers never dry your clothes. After the blizzard, it took months for them to actually trim trees where the branches were ready to fall off. Also they don't enforce noise control, and there has been at least one gang stabbing while I've been here.

You need to think about how much you are paying to live here if you want a limo then you need to pay for it! I know that if any one gets to loud, security takes care of it and the stabbing you talked about happened at Webster Lake not here. You need to get your facts stright!

Gee k9Nix, I think that the cops that came after I complained about my upstairs neighbor playing music at 4 am that my walls shook who warned me the guy was a member of the Mexican Mafia (form the prison tats and the 5 teardrop tats on his cheek), had a long rap sheet, and noted that they just removed the body from the area by the dumpster the previous week would be the ones who knew. After I had maintenance "repair" the 30 year old oven door that came completely off 5 times and finally burned my whole arm and found out this bit of info I packed my bags and had a disabilty rights lawyer type up a letter that said let me out of my lease or I'd sue. Now don't you wonder where the $35 security check fee went? Obviously not to weed out risky residents.
