Although this is an older (1960's) apartment complex, the upkeep is terrific. The head maintenance guy Joseph, is terrific, even responding at 10pm on Saturday night to scratching noises in the walls. It seems that the people upstairs had a hamster that got loose and burrowed through the drywall and fell down into my walls. The little guy was not happy, but Joseph was nice enough to cut through three sections of drywall to get the thing out so I could get some sleep. Kathy, the property manager, rigourously enforces the community rules and noise ordinances, but is pleasant to deal with.
Bugs were never a problem while I was there.
