Okay where to start, when we signed on our lease we loved everyone and everything about Briargate, until you know three weeks in.
First, our rent went up because apparently Briargate seems to think that they weren't charging anyone enough for water.
Then, the ----------- matnence guy hit on my roomate and made some questioning comments towards myself.
I'm paying 1000 a mounth for a pool that doesn't work and has been locked for about two months. A ------ tanning bed. A virtual golf room that doesn't work. And the first three months we were here the theater room was broken also. The same theater room that the young mainence guy said that my roomate should bring her friends after hours.
Oh I'm not done, I have a terrible car, it's in horrible shape and doesn't really accelerate, especically on cold days. I was very late to school one day due to the fact that it was snowing and I had to clean the snow off my car and I drove down to a corner and when I got around it both of the maintnece guys were standing in the middle of the road. Being nice I stopped and said hello. And ------ goes "can I ask you a favor, can you slow down a little going through the complex'" The first thing that went through my head was "Really' It's icey I was going about 20 mph. and I said oh no I was just going about 20 and he pursued to tell me I was going 45 on ice in a ------ car. I denyed it and he told me that one of the maintnence people clocked me going that fast. BULL ----.
Back to the fat maintnence guy. We confronted the front office about this and denyed it until we mentioned a lawer. Never pursued anything.. I don't have time working and going to school.
The parking spots are too small and their is always ice on the ground when you try to walk to your appartment, Danger!! I mean they clean it up two days after it snows.
Trust me, do not move in, my lease is up in August and I will not be coming back, my apartment in aurora was better than this one.

Have you had the pleasure of dealing with ----, the manager yet? I turned in my rent check on time like I always do, but happened to put the wrong name on the check (had started on a new migraine medication, was loopy as could be). They didn't notify me until 13 days after the fact, and I happened to be out of town. So ...16 days later, I had a notice on my door saying my rent was late, I had till 5 that night to pay the rent, the $75 late fee, $75 returned check fee, plus $200 in daily late fees otherwise I would have the $200 lawyer fee tacked on as well. I had NEVER had a problem with my rent until that day. The office staff told me that people always put the wrong names on checks and they just scratch them off - but chances were HE had processed that batch and didn't catch it. I managed to get them to drop the daily fees, but when I tried talking to him about it again he started threatening me ... "Well do you want me to charge you more fees? I can keep tacking them on until you drop it". What a douche. I'm moving out in a month and can hardly wait. I hate this place.
