Still renewing my lease

From: RedLeader

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005

I have lived in this complex since it was built and have continued to renew my lease as long as my job keeps me here in CO. I value most the property location, the floorplan, and my mountain view.
Fortunately the neighbors that I have had during this time have been quiet. Certain noises are expected to be heard with apartment living. My recommendation to those who are sound sensitive to request a second floor apt. I was aware of the complex being in a flight plan of Centennial airport, however I got used to it. Maybe on the west side of the property isn't as bad as the east end'
Unfortunately, I have seen the quality of tenants drop and the respect to the property. With the low-rent specials come residents in which some are ignorant to the rest of us who call this 'home'. Speeding and reckless driving has increased as well as abuse to the clubhouse amenities. Pet owners rarely pick up after their dogs, and few abide by Parker's leash law. Children (under the age limit allowed by the property) treat the gym as a playground and use the pool facilities without adult supervision. The pool and its area could have been designed larger to accommodate all the residents and their families, as well as their guests. Weekends are sometimes bad for getting a chair.
Another complaint on the property is ample parking space. Each apartment comes with a garage, however it seems most use it for storage which limits the extra parking for guests. Some neighbors park large suv's in front of their garages creating a dangerous obstacle when driving thru the complex as it's rear end blocks part of the street.
I have to add that the water pressure is poor..I do not know whether it's a property issue, or a city of Parker issue.
On a better note, I have always had positive relations with the management and maintenance staff in regards to questions or repairs. The property manager and assistant manager have been here since day one.
I am impressed with the property's design,as it is rare to find apts with only two levels, some creative floor plans, and an upscale exterior!
In the end, I would recommend this property. Most of my negatives are justified as they are typical of apartment living. But they might be important to someone looking!
