I have been a resident here for 2 years and just got my renewal letter stating that I have been a great resident and increasing my rent by $180/mo. I spoke with the manager, Gloria (plays dumb)and said there is no negotiating price. I asked about moving to smaller apt. and transferring my deposit. Gloria said that she knew nothing about that -- that they have never done that. So I showed her the Resident Guide where it is printed and she said it was no longer valid (even though they still include it with the New Resident Folder. (I spoke with 2 previous tenants that had transferred in the past.) Also, if I do want to move to a smaller apt. that I would have to pay all new fees, deposits (including another $400 pet deposit), fill out new application and pay another application fee, and lose all my nonrefundable monies from current rental. This is how they treat an excellent resident that has never been late paying her rent. These people lie about everything, act like it is their first day on the job with no training or knowledge of their job. Also, the first year I was here the steam room was closed (couldn't get the parts). One tanning bed has not worked for the past 11 months (can't get the parts). The Meditation Room is a joke and the massage chair does not work (has been this way for the past year or so). After weeks of complaints regarding the "unheated pool" they finally warmed the water. I know they never clean the hot tub--nasty!

The good things: location and apartment layout.
