I have been living here for some time. When my lease expired over a 6 week period the rent was hiked twice up to 41%. If I want to renew for a whole year I must pay 13% more. (These are accurate numbers!!!) My employment is in question. I may have to move to take another job. So I am damned if I renew because I may have to move in 2-3 month. Plus I have had some health problems that have gotten very expensive. Now I cannot pay my medical bills because I am paying these cut throat pirates. I'm better off living in a motel. At least it is more quiet.

All the negative things said about these apartment are true. I'm shocked anyone has been so lucky to have a positive experience.

I have gone long periods of time 3 months here and there where neighbors have been incredibly noisy (stereos). The whole building will shake. The management does no want to do anything about it. The walls and floors are very thin. I hear my upstairs neighbor walking, sneezing, talking, ... These apartments look nice and have a nice amount of space, but they are poorly constructed!

There is a constant turnover in the staff. In June three of the five maintenance staff quit. This is a reflection of how Simpson housing manages the property and how they do business. Simpson housing mismanages the whole place. The only positive is that an effort is made to maintain the place, but there still is dog poop all over the place. Literally! Many dog owners do clean up after their dogs, but the maintenance staff cannot keep up with the ones that do not.

The management are cut throat about rent increases. I just received another notice this week about another probably rent increase and that the management wants to have a "party" to encourage people to sign up for long term leases before they raise them again soon.

This country is in a recession and many of us cannot afford a 41% rent increase let alone a 13% increase. Simpson Housing is taking advantage of the poor economy and of their tenants.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! UNLESS YOU LIKE FECES! g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

I completely agree with you. Everything about that place is terrible. As a previous tenant, I am disgusted with the entire complex: Management included.
