Large Rent Increases - worst place I've ever lived

I have lived here over 2 years. Because of uncertain employment I let the lease expire and go month to month. The increase is giant. Even if I resigned with a one year lease the increase is still substantial. I've been through this a number of times.
These apartments are cheaply built. Very cheaply!!! Things fall apart easily. The maintenance staff is not helpful. There is a high turnover of the maintenance staff and the front office staff, which is a clear indication of the type of management they have.
Noise: I have had periods as long as 3 months where I have had hell raising neighbors. Complaining to the every changing management is pointless. I'd have to keep calling the police. This has gone one every 3-4 months. There be slamming of doors and furniture against the walls at 2am. Loud TV's at 4am. The walls and floors are very thin!
The apartments have a nice layout and look nice, but they are not anywhere worth the expense and trouble.
Also the static is terrible. There are large power lines buried right outside many of the apartments. I lived in Phoenix and the static was much less than here in these apartments. I get a bad static shock every time I touch anything. I have neighbors that have short haired dogs and when you pet them you can hear the crackling and popping of the static charge that they build up from being in these apartments all day long.
The parking lot is very dangerous. And there are no places to park.
The management is now trying to get neighbors to tattle tail on people who do not clean up after their dogs, so now if I don't like a neighbor that has a dog I can make a false complaint. This was not too bright, but then when you consider money is all these people care about.
They just keep jacking up the rents. I'm moving because there are plenty of apartments in the area that have not raised their rents and they cannot be any worse than this place.
