Worst apartment I ever lived in

We were the first one's in our building in 1999. We were excited because they were brand new and we thought very nice. The first apt. we lived in was a two bed/one bath. The first nite we were there we had to call maintenance because the carpet in the master bed was soaked. Apparently there had been a toilet leak upstairs and it had soaked the carpet and the walls. There was a huge water stain behind the door and the door was warped so it wouldn't shut completely. Once it rained for like a week and the ceiling started leaking in the living room and had a 3 inch crack. We called to have them come look at it and it took two days. Then he just patched it from the inside instead of fixing the problem on the outside so guess what the ceiling leaked everytime it rained. When our son was born we moved into a three bedroom and at first it seemed nice, but there were days that I couldn't even get into my own garage because cars were parked in front of it. Then my husband would come home from work and have to park in front of another building, because there were people who didn't even live in our building parking in our area. The neighbors upstairs were up all hours of the night, bouncing basket ball, running the vacuum and waking up my son. One of the bedrooms was so cold in the winter we had to just abandon it all together. The windows would sweat in the winter and mildew and I had to keep towels on the sills to prevent water from gettin every where. There was dog crap all over the place and no one seemed to care. We didn't even use the pool area because it always looked nasty. The park was unkept and we took our kids to the school park to play. In the winter the sprinklers would run and the water would freeze on the side walks. When it snowed no one ever came to break up the ice or put out sand. They used a snow plow on the golf cart to clear off the snow. Ice patches would form and be there until July, because no body bothered to break it up. Overall we were very unhappy and were excited when we left. We have lived in many apartments and enjoyed most, but none were as bad as Parker Hilltop.
