The apartments are nice and that is where it ends. The police practically live at this complex! Most of the tenants seem to be in their early 20's and have three things in common: theiving, drinking and drug trafficking. I had police knock on my door on several occasions wondering if I had seen my neighbors. I had to call the police on several other occasions to have them tone down the raging parties. (My immediate upstairs neighbors had a penchant for Tuesday night soirees!) I watched a meth lab bust one morning from my dining room window. METH LAB BUST!!!!!! I had a bench sitting outside my front door, it was stolen on 2 seperate occasions. The final occasion it turned up missing I discovered it in 5 pieces at the bottom of a flight of stairs.
Parking is awful! Timing is everything...you have to be home before 5 p.m. or you won't find a place to park...that is unless you prefer to park on the grass like a few of the tenants.
I think the apartments are fairly insulated. The bottom line is the tenants are noisy. And the breezeways of the apartments seem to attract random acts of spousal/domestic abuse.
The property is nice, but nothing impressive. It does the job. My one experience with the maintenance crew was disgusting...they used my bathroom, missed the toliet and what did make it in the toliet was NOT flushed. They also tracked in muddy footprints that I spent hours cleaning up. The staff refused to clean up the mess.
If I learned anything from this experience is that you should spend some time scoping the property before you sign the lease...show up around 5 p.m. and watch the other tenants roll in from work. The property would be much better if the staff had the ability to weed out the trash...and speaking of trash, the one dumpster on the property is at the front of the community for all to see!
