Where to begin'...

Let me see.

Ive lived at the Parker Hilltop for 1 yr now.

You betcha that ill be leaving when my lease is up!



1st: No assigned parking.

I work late, and come home anywhere between 11pm and 2 am.

Sometimes i have to walk the entire length of the complex just to get home after finding a parking spot.

There are horse trailers, 4 door/350/diesel trucks everywhere that dont park straight, and some cars that never move in a month.(ie, cars not being used!) I bet you wouldnt like to walk over 1/4 of a mile when youre done working a 12 hour day.



2nd: crazy tennants! There have been drug-lab busts, people (with little children) having very loud parties late at night (every weekend), people out at the hot-tub after midnight (in the middle of the apts.) partying very loudly, and still other people starting fires on their porches.

That doesnt even mention the noise of some neighbors at all hours of the night!(not well built apts!)



3rd: Exspensive prices/ Cheap apts! Ive never lived anywhere where the carpets tear up at the kitchen entrance, constantly shredding and making a mess.

I tried to put a staple into the wall, and a huge chunk of wall litterally FELL OUT! Decks with wooden boards that are done so badly that there are 1 inch gaps between boards, so you have to be way to carefull on them and cant even grill-out because you might drip marrinade on your neighbors below.

Not too mention bad lighting.

You have to use lamps in every room, and there is a gigantic/CHEAP floresant light in the kitchen, that Im sure you dont want illuminating your apartment as did I not.



Do yourself a favor and pass up this Exspensive-Ghetto apt, where you cant even drive from your apt/house to the mail box without passing a cop car, that, out in Parker has nothing better to do than to drive around your complex day and night.

Thats got to say one of two things....

- good neighborhood policing....

or....

- lots of problems in one area (the apt.

complex) when you live in a small town where nothing dangerous ever happens.
