Luxury Apartments' Disappointment.

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
My fiance and I moved into the Parker Hilltop Apartments in April 2006. Right after move-in there was a rape that took place on the grounds. That in itself made us want to move.
The model apartment(s) seem beautiful and they are but they are dramatically different from the apartment you will likely receive. We were lucky enough to get new carpet so we didn't have to deal with any of the stain problems. And the leasing agents are wonderful upon move-in. But there is one particular agent who is just plain rude regardless of what you are saying or asking.
During the recent snowstorms snow removal was not only bad, it was non-existent. It was only upon the news of the 3rd potential storm did they get people out there. Maintanence allowed a vehicle to park in the middle of the street for a week even AFTER the snow had already melted. This not only obstructed traffic but made the parking situation far worse than it already is.
Parking is horrible so if you come home after 6p.m. on any given night, expect to park pretty far from your building.
The grounds look like trash on Mondays and Thursday. Tenants are allowed to leave up to 4 bags of trash for the maintenance to pick up directly outside of the building. And nobody follow trash pick-up rules. Many people will put it out several days before pick up which leaves the grounds looking horrible almost every day of the week.
The apartments are beautiful but you can hear where you upstairs neighbor is anytime they even attempt to tip-toe across the floor. Showers, toilet flushing, all of it you can hear.
Overall, we won't be recommending these apartments to anyone.
