The buildings and grounds look nice, but once you get into it, it's much less than it's cracked up to be. My wife leased our apartment with a roommate 3 years ago for $699, and I eventually moved in after we got married. After the first year was up, they increased the rent to $800, and then to $880 a year later. That's a 25% increase in 2 years which is more than quadruple the metro area average, and they gave no consideration to the fact that we are good tenants that pay our rent on time every month.
There is mold growing in our shower because the pre-fab shower kit wasn't properly sealed when it was installed. We had it 'fixed' a year ago and the mold grew right back. I think they just covered it up.
The office has lost more than one package that was sent to us.
They occasionally have 'tenant appreciation' events where they'll have free breakfast in the clubhouse. The last event went until 10am. I went to the clubhouse a little after 9 and there were empty boxes of King Soopers donuts, and a bag of bagels that had one bagel left. There was a also an empty jug of orange juice.
I can't say that it's the worst place in the world, and we'll probably stay one more year because we don't want to move again before we buy a house. But if I had the choice, I would not live there. I would definitely not recommend it.
